An amazing little Maltese restaurant serving a good range of meals. It seems like it is well patronised by the locals. We wanted to try the traditional rabbit stew and it was very good. The prices were extremely reasonable and the staff were incredibly friendly and were went out of their way to make us welcome and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place.
We had fried rabbit and horse stew. Rabbit was delicious! Horse meat was a bit chewy, and there was no spoon Great service, very friendly. Great price.
A friendly pub just off the main square of Birgu, and well loved by the Maltese/Birgu locals. Drinks and food are crazy cheap as well. Drinks were good, seating was comfortable, and very nice having air-con inside. Can’t complain!
Pub is on small street, that gives the asthetic Malta cultural feelings. We came to the place from Valetta on water taxi, so it was a full experience. Food was delicious: I took pan fried rabbit and my wife took octopus in wine. Rabbit was juicy and well cooked, sauce tasted good with rabbit and fries. Octopus was great, it was perfectly made and the salat that was added just made the flavour spark more. Octopus came with home cooked bread and was great with sauces. Staff helped to decide and gave insides on food. We asked and they did answer, as well answered to questions for locations for better markets in three city’s. I recommend coming to this place.
Restaurant is near the centre, it’s in a good location. Prices are really good for the food. We waited quite a lot, around 30 minutes but food was delicious. I recommend it if you want good food for normal price.
Food is relatively cheaper than the other places in the vicinity. Service is friendly. Had the rabbit with fries
